Recap: Northwood Panthers vs. Tri-Cities Christian Eagles
This season hasn't been kind to the Northwood Panthers, who are still winless after their sixth matchup. They were beaten by Tri-Cities Christian 60-20 on Friday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Northwood in their matchups with Tri-Cities Christian: they've now lost four in a row.
It was another big night for Faith Greene, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and four steals for Tri-Cities Christian. The game was Greene's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Sophie Humphrey, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds.
Northwood bumped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Tri-Cities Christian, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwood will face off against Marion at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Tri-Cities Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Chilhowie at 2:00 p.m. on December 29th.
