Baseball Recap: Madison-Grant Starts off Right with Win over Wes-Del

Madison-Grant took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They never let the Wes-Del Warriors get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. This was payback for the Argylls, who suffered an 11-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Levi Nelson was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Xavier Yeagy was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Madison-Grant always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wes-Del only posted an OBP of .222.

Madison-Grant wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-0 defeat against Delta on the 11th. As for Wes-Del, they have also already played their next matchup, a 15-2 loss against Eastbrook on the 9th.
