Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Roscoe). They strolled past the Cross Plains Buffaloes with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 33-14. The Plowboys haven't had any issues with the Buffaloes recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Tylan Balthrop had a dynamite game, rushing for 80 yards and three touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Carter Gleaton, who rushed for 72 yards and one TD on only ten carries.

Roscoe's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Cross Plains, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Roscoe will look to defend their home field on Friday against Hamlin at 7:00 p.m. The Plowboys will need to watch out since the Pied Pipers have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games. As for Cross Plains, they are taking a road trip to face off against Miles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Buffaloes will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34.33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
