Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Western Michigan Christian). They skirted past the Fruitport Trojans 62-60. While the Warriors didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Western Michigan Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Fruitport, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Western Michigan Christian will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Muskegon Catholic Central at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Fruitport and Fowler will round out the year against one another at at 4:00 p.m. on December 27th.
