If Carbondale Area was riding high fresh off their 45-15 takedown of Holy Cross last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chargers were dealt a 43-14 loss at the hands of the Dunmore Bucks on Friday. The Chargers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Carbondale Area's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Dunmore, they now also have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Carbondale Area will head out on the road to face off against Montrose at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers will be up against the Meteors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 37.2 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Dunmore, they will challenge Lakeland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will give the Bucks their first taste of in-conference action this season.
