The East Gaston Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Lincoln Charter Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. East Gaston is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 13.1 runs per game this season.

East Gaston is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against West Caldwell on Wednesday. They lost 16-1 to West Caldwell. The contest marked East Gaston's lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Wednesday. Lincoln Charter's pitchers stepped up to hand SouthLake Christian Academy a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Lincoln Charter, who have now won seven games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Lincoln Charter's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for East Gaston, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-5.

Everything went East Gaston's way against Lincoln Charter in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as East Gaston made off with a 13-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
