Vienna entered their tilt with Galatia on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bearcats. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Vienna easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14.

Ella Kreuter paced Vienna's offense, picking up seven kills. Kreuter got some help from Colleen King and her eight assists. Jenna Waters controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Vienna's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Galatia, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Vienna will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bearcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
