Yucaipa entered their tilt with Cajon on Thursday with 12 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 13. They escaped with a win against the Cajon Cowboys by the margin of a single free throw, 43-42. The 43-point effort marked the Thunderbirds' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Malik Young was his usual excellent self, going 8 for 18 on his way to 22 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mason Lazzar, who posted six points.
