Basketball Recap: Kevin Swanson Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Nederland

Poudre Community Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kevin Swanson led the charge by on his way to 16 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Swanson has become a key player for Poudre Community Academy: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least three steals, but 2-12 otherwise. Kalin Morris was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Nederland lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Indio Koonz, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 17 boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Robert Akerley, who posted 14 points.
