Baseball Recap: Lower Moreland Lions vs. William Tennent Panthers

After losing to William Tennent the last time they met, Lower Moreland decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lower Moreland Lions sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over the William Tennent Panthers on Tuesday.

Keegan Courduff tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jackson Calder, who went 3-for-3 with a stolen base and an RBI.

On William Tennent's side, Mike Woehr was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off eight hits (and not a single walk).
