Volleyball Game Preview: Creekview Mustangs vs. Wakeland Wolverines

Creekview is 0-7 against Wakeland since September of 2022 but things could change on Friday. The Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wolverines at 5:30 p.m. Creekview will be strutting in after a win while Wakeland will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Creekview turned things around against Turner on Tuesday. They blew past the Lions 3-0.

Creekview walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-21, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Wakeland didn't have quite enough to beat Highland Park on Tuesday and fell 3-2. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Scots recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Wakeland wouldn't go down easily and took Highland Park into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-21, 24-26, 18-25, 15-9.

Wakeland's defeat dropped their record down to 22-7. As for Creekview, their win bumped their record up to 10-24.
