Westminster Christian beats Priceville for their seventh straight win

The Westminster Christian Wildcats had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.7 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They walked away with a 36-29 victory over Priceville. For Westminster Christian, this counts as revenge for the 72-45 loss Priceville walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.

Brandon Musch was on fire: he rushed for 217 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 77 yards and a touchdown.

Despite the loss, Priceville still got an impressive performance from Blitz Clemons, who rushed for 176 yards and four touchdowns. Clemons was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 66 yards.

Westminster Christian's victory was their seventh straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 7-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Priceville, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Westminster Christian will head out on the road to face off against New Hope at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. New Hope will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 297th, while Westminster Christian is ranked 144th). As for Priceville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Randolph School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Randolph School's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last five matches.
