Harlan came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Brennan Bears. That's more bragging rights for the Hawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-22, 25-13, 24-26, 25-13.

Brennan's loss came despite strong showings from Mia Nunez and Rubie Mares. Nunez had 15 digs and four assists, while Mares had nine assists and seven digs. Nunez is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Harlan's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Brennan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-6.

Coming up, Harlan will be playing in front of their home fans against O'Connor at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brennan, they will challenge Clark at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
