Basketball Recap: Haynesville Comes Up Short

Haynesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Plain Dealing Lions 64-14. The Golden Tornado lost against the Lions in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 43-22 score last time.

Haynesville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Plain Dealing, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Haynesville has already played their next match (against Lincoln Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Plain Dealing has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Evangel Christian Academy.
