Volleyball Recap: King's Academy Now 12-1 over Last 13 Games

There's no place like home for King's Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Atlantic Christian Sharks on Tuesday. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Sharks, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: King's Academy took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-15, 25-5.

Miranda Knoll paced King's Academy's offense, picking up 17 kills. Knoll got some help from Hunter Saltalamacchia and her 29 assists. Mikayla Matuszko controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

King's Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Atlantic Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9.

King's Academy has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Boca Raton Christian on the 25th. As for Atlantic Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Highlands Christian on the 25th.
