Marshall had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the San Marino Titans.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (110-100) Marshall actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final set scores came out to 25-20, 28-26, 8-25, 23-25, 16-14.

Several Titans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lila Wang, who had 33 digs, 24 kills, and two aces. The team also got some help from Cynthia Kackstetter, who had 43 assists, 18 digs, and two aces.

Marshall has now won seven of their last eight games at home. That's helped them to an 18-8 record this season. As for San Marino, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 25-9.

Coming up, Marshall will challenge South Pasadena at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. San Marino does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
