Soccer Recap: Woodland Falls Short of Granada in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Woodland can now relate to. They fell 4-2 to the Granada Matadors on Tuesday. Wolves have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Enrique Palacios and Johan Olmedo scored both of Woodland's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 43 goals.

Woodland's loss dropped their record down to 19-3. As for Granada, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Woodland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Granada, they will face off against Hillsdale at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hillsdale will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Granada surely won't give up without a fight.
