Baseball Game Preview: Bishop England Battling Bishops vs. Beaufort Eagles

For the second straight game, Bishop England will face off against Beaufort. The Battling Bishops will head out to square off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop England is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

Last Wednesday, Bishop England had just enough and edged out Beaufort 2-1.

Finn Corley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits.

On the hitting side, Bishop England's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was MADDOX MUNZEL, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Bishop England's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Beaufort, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.
