After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ocean Springs, Gulfport was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Harrison Central Red Rebels a 9-0 shutout. The Admirals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by three goals or more this season.

Gulfport's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-7-4. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Harrison Central, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Gulfport will head out to square off against Biloxi at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harrison Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Martin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
