After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pioneer, Skyline was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They breezed past the Monroe Trojans to the tune of 66-33. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Trojans are ranked 505th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Skyline's win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Monroe, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-18 record this season.

Coming up, Skyline will take on Pioneer in a tournament on February 26th. As for Monroe, they will face off against Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Monroe is facing Jefferson at the right time seeing as Jefferson is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
