Softball Recap: Porter Ridge Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Porter Ridge was handed a 11-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls 9-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Pirates have posted since April 23, 2024.

Porter Ridge got a big performance out of Mylen Cadiang, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4. Cadiang also brought in an RBI, marking her first of the season. CJ Moore was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Porter Ridge was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .394. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
