Volleyball Recap: Florin Extends Winning Streak to Five

Florin had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Valley Vikings. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Florin's got stronger as the match went on, holding Valley to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-8, 25-6.

John Nguyen paced Florin's offense, picking up 12 kills. Nguyen got some help from Sean Lee and his 20 assists. Finally, Nguyen was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Florin's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Valley, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.
