Basketball Recap: Mount Ida Takes a Loss

Mount Ida lost against Kirby back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mount Ida Lions took a 54-36 bruising from the Kirby Trojans. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Mount Ida dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Kirby, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-4.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Mount Ida Lions duke it out with the Umpire Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kirby has already played their next contest, a 67-45 loss against Nevada on the 17th.
