Volleyball Recap: Mountain View Academy Takes a Loss

Mountain View Academy lost against KIPP Navigate College Prep back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mustangs lost 3-0 to the Tigers. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mountain View Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-23, 25-7.

Among those leading the charge was Gabriela Heredia, who had five aces. Those five aces gave her a new career-high.

Mountain View Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for KIPP Navigate College Prep, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mountain View Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Summit Tahoma at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, KIPP Navigate College Prep will face off against rival Luis Valdez Leadership Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
