Volleyball Recap: Clayton Comes Up Short

Clayton lost against Parkway North back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Greyhounds lost 3-0 to the Vikings.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-13, 25-20.

Dhanvin Patel was the offensive standout of the contest as he had five digs and three aces. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (three).

Clayton's loss dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Parkway North, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

The future could be bright for both Clayton and Parkway North: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Greyhounds will look to extend Northwest's three-game losing streak when they meet at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Parkway North will try to hand Affton their third-straight defeat when the two meet at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
