It's playoff time, and Bremen had no trouble coming through when it counted. They skirted past the Jimtown Jimmies 3-1. That's two games straight that the Lions have won by exactly two runs.

JJ Cencelewski spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Zack Buszkiewicz was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2025.

Bremen is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Jimtown, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-12 record.
