Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Parry McCluer). Everything went their way against the Narrows Green Waves on Thursday as they made off with a 23-6 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Fighting Blues as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Parry McCluer's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Narrows, their defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Coincidentally, Parry McCluer and Narrows will both be playing Eastern Montgomery the next time they take the field. The Fighting Blues will host the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Green Waves will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
