After flying high against Loranger on Monday, Live Oak came back down to earth. The Eagles came up short against the St. Amant Gators on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Live Oak's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 16-10. As for St. Amant, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Live Oak will challenge Destrehan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Amant, they will take on Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
