In other batting news, Maria Albert was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Gracie Brown, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
Bristol Eastern hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive contests.
Bristol Eastern's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-5. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Bristol Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.
