Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Ridge). They put the hurt on the Four Corners Coyotes with a sharp 7-2 win on Thursday. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 184th, while the Coyotes are ranked 464th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory got East Ridge back to even at 3-3-2. As for Four Corners, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

East Ridge didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, an 8-0 win against South Sumter on the 6th. As for Four Corners, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tenoroc at 7:30 p.m. on December 16th.
