Stevenson strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 25-15 win over the Soledad Aztecs. This was payback for the Pirates, who suffered a 35-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Stevenson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Antonio Borgomini, who rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Borgomini really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run. Fin Mink was another key player, having thrown for 288 yards and two touchdowns.

Stevenson's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Soledad, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
