Basketball Game Preview: Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers vs. Arcadia Hornets

Jonesboro-Hodge and Arcadia are an even 5-5 against one another since November of 2015, but not for long. The Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers will challenge the Arcadia Hornets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Jonesboro-Hodge comes in on three and Arcadia on four.

It was a proper cat-fight when Jonesboro-Hodge faced off against Lincoln Prep on Friday. Jonesboro-Hodge enjoyed a cozy 35-20 victory over Lincoln Prep.

Meanwhile, Arcadia humbled Ringgold with a 51-4 victory. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Arcadia's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Jonesboro-Hodge, they have also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season.

Jonesboro-Hodge was dealt a bruising 60-30 defeat at the hands of Arcadia when the teams last played back in December of 2022. Can Jonesboro-Hodge avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
