Basketball Recap: Mulvane Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Mulvane, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They strolled past the Haysville Campus Colts with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 47-31. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Haysville Campus lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Emerleigh Cooper, who posted 13 points. Cooper continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Joslen Craig was another key player, putting up five points.

Mulvane's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Haysville Campus, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Mulvane has already played their next game, a 45-41 victory against Conway Springs on the 31st. Haysville Campus has also already played their next contest (against South), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
