Volleyball Game Preview: Lakeview Sailors vs. Reynolds Raiders

The Lakeview Sailors are taking a road trip to take on the Reynolds Raiders at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Monday, Lakeview got the win against Girard by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sailors.

Lakeview was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Reynolds made easy work of Commodore Perry on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Reynolds never let Commodore Perry on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 25-22.

Lakeview's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Reynolds, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Lakeview beat Reynolds 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sailors since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
