Basketball Recap: Lin-Wood Takes a Loss

Lin-Wood lost against Woodsville back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lin-Wood Lumberjacks came up short against the Woodsville Engineers, falling 45-25.

Lin-Wood has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Woodsville, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Lin-Wood will head out to face off against Pittsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Pittsburg's defense has only allowed 28.2 points per game this season, so Lin-Wood's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Woodsville, they will host Colebrook Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Colebrook Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Woodsville surely won't give up without a fight.
