Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

If Roosevelt was feeling good fresh off their 52-18 takedown of Barberton last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Roosevelt Rough Riders took a hard 38-21 fall against the Copley Indians on Saturday. The Rough Riders have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Copley, their victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-3.

Roosevelt will host Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Copley, they are taking a road trip to square off against Cuyahoga Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
