Softball Recap: Parkrose Comes Up Short

Parkrose was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss. They lost 24-1 to the Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts Mustangs. The Broncos lost against the Mustangs in their previous head to head back in May of 2025, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 10-9 score last time.

Parkrose saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amelia Tatafu, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Parkrose's defeat dropped their record down to 0-23. As for Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-12.

While Parkrose had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
