Basketball Game Preview: Marion Scarlet Hurricanes vs. Grayson County Blue Devils

Having just played yesterday, the Marion Scarlet Hurricanes will head out on the road to face off against the Grayson County Blue Devils at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Grayson County took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Marion, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Marion rang in the new year with a 52-42 win over Rural Retreat.

Meanwhile, Grayson County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 39-33 to Alleghany. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marion now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Grayson County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Marion and Grayson County were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in January of 2020, but Marion came up empty-handed after a 40-39 defeat. Can Marion avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
