Florin extended their losing streak to four on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 3-11 in the process. They came up short against the Johnson Warriors, falling 18-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 23-0 back in March.

As for Johnson, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.2 runs over those games.

For Johnson's part, Leticia Gonzales and Kayla Madison made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Gonzales tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
