            Baseball Recap: Fremont Silverwolves vs. Ridgeline Riverhawks        
        
		
        
        
            Fremont  took care of business in their home opener  on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Ridgeline Riverhawks by a score of  8-4. The Silverwolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Riverhawks, too.
 Jace Hadley made a big impact no matter where he played. He  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. What's more,  he gave up only zero  earned runs, the fewest he's  had since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing  Two bases. while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in April of 2024.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Kasen Pearson, who  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI and two  doubles. Another player making a difference was  Cole Sanders, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Fremont  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .515. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ridgeline only posted  an  OBP of  .344.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fremont is headed away from home for the first time to  challenge  Mountain Ridge  at 3:30  p.m.  on March 14th. As for Ridgeline, they will head out to  face off against Juan Diego Catholic  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
