Recap: John F. Kennedy Rockets vs. San Antonio Memorial Minutemen
The John F. Kennedy Rockets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their ninth straight loss. They lost to San Antonio Memorial on the road by a decisive 20-6 margin. John F. Kennedy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as San Antonio Memorial apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
San Antonio Memorial's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Achille Madjikim led the charge by rushing for 102 yards and a touchdown.
John F. Kennedy's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-9. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 10-1 Boerne and 10-1 Bandera (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 64.1% over those games). As for San Antonio Memorial, their win ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-8.
John F. Kennedy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. San Antonio Memorial also has no future games currently scheduled.
