Soccer Game Preview: Atlantic Christian vs. Olympic Heights

Atlantic Christian is 0-3 against Olympic Heights since November of 2023 but things could change on Friday. The Atlantic Christian Sharks will head out on the road to face off against the Olympic Heights Lions at 6:00 p.m.

Atlantic Christian is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game on Monday. They lost 3-0 to Lake Worth Christian. The contest was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for the Sharks it sure didn't stay that way.

Meanwhile, Olympic Heights came tearing into Wednesday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.2 goals) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Chiefs 9-1. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by eight goals or more this season.

They hit Santaluces with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alma Geschwind (3), Aviana Solorzano (3), Rebecca Camara (2), and Sienna Higgott.

Olympic Heights has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 60 goals over those eight matches. As for Atlantic Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.

Atlantic Christian suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Olympic Heights in their previous matchup back in November. Can Atlantic Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
