Eastmark's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the ALA - Queen Creek Patriots 5-4. The Firebirds haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Ella Larned was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Rylee Deguzman was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

The victory got Eastmark back to even at 6-6. As for ALA - Queen Creek, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-10.

Eastmark will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Patriots: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
