Volleyball Recap: Leigh Longhorns vs. Carlmont Scots
Leigh extended their postseason success on Thursday against Carlmont. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Scots. Winning may never get old, but the Longhorns sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
The victory didn't come easy: Carlmont scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23, 25-22.
Cooper Smith paced Leigh's offense, picking up 14 kills. Smith got some help from Eric Wu and his 32 assists. Finally, Smith was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.
