Abraham Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 5-1 to the George Washington Eagles. While losing is never fun, Abraham Lincoln can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 447th, while George Washington are ranked 199th).

Abraham Lincoln's goal came courtesy of Mohammad Alhamad, who's now up to five this season.

Abraham Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for George Washington, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Abraham Lincoln has already played their next match, a 4-3 defeat against Samuel Fels on the 22nd. As for George Washington, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-2 win against John Bartram on the 24th.
