Basketball Recap: Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Finds Home Court Redemption Against Neuse Christian Academy

There's no place like home for Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Everything went their way against the Neuse Christian Academy Lions on Friday as the Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion made off with a 40-20 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Lion have posted since November 15, 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Noah Lousey, who posted seven points and five assists. Those five assists gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Hudson Rogers, who had seven points.

Lousey wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Neuse Christian Academy only posted five assists.

When it comes to explaining why Neuse Christian Academy lost, don't look at Carter Brown. Despite the final result, he earned nine points.

Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill pushed their record up to 7-15 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Neuse Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
