Basketball Game Preview: Enfield Eagles vs. RHAM Raptors

The Enfield Eagles will square off against the RHAM Raptors at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Enfield is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Windsor just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They were dealt a 100-69 defeat at the hands of the Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 56th, while the Warriors are ranked tenth).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask RHAM). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Platt 105-28. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Raptors with their most commanding win of the season.

RHAM moved to 3-8 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak. As for Enfield, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Enfield skirted past RHAM 69-66 in their previous meeting last Friday. Does Enfield have another victory up their sleeve, or will RHAM turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
