Softball Recap: Smith County Owls vs. Westmoreland Eagles
If Smith County was riding high fresh off their 20-9 takedown of York Institute on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Owls came up short against the Westmoreland Eagles on Saturday, falling 13-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 23-0 back in February.
Smith County now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Westmoreland, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-7.
