Annawan-Wethersfield was not the first on the board on Saturday, but they got there more often. They were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over the Princeville Princes. Considering the Titans have won nine matches by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Annawan-Wethersfield has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-16 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Princeville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 17 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-20 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Annawan-Wethersfield will welcome Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Spartans' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Titans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Princeville, they will square off against Delavan at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Panthers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
