Basketball Recap: Princeton Falls Short of Alleman in the Playoffs

Princeton and Alleman squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Princeton had to settle for second. They took a 40-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alleman Pioneers. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Pioneers: they've now lost three in a row.

Princeton's loss dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Alleman, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-9 record this season.

Princeton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Alleman, they will square off against Byron at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Byron will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Alleman surely won't give up without a fight.
